Clémentine Arpiainen
Family Member TT Gaskets
Clémentine Arpiainen has been an active member of both the Finnish and international family business networks for about 10 years.
The networks´ activities have been of her great interest as she has been once the grand-daughter of a family business owner and entrepreneur, is nowadays the spouse of an active family business owner and entrepreneur and more importantly is the mother of two potential future family business owners and entrepreneurs.
Clémentine has been eager to make more visible the questions that concern the roles and statuses of the spouses and the consequences they might have on family businesses. She shared the stage in 2019 with Caroline Darbonne during an inspiring cross-generational discussion between spouses.
When she is not embracing the family business related roles, she leads an impactful business driven ecosystem that enables the Finnish manufacturing value chain actors to succeed in their twin transition, preserve and reinforce their global competitiveness through impactful collaboration.

Behind the Scenes: The Vital Role of Spouses in Shaping Family Business Legacies
Small Group Discussion
In family-owned enterprising families, spouses and in-laws often play crucial yet sometimes understated roles. As partners, parents, and educators, they influence the next generation of family members who may one day become owners, leaders, or stewards of the family enterprise. This session is designed to bring together spouses of family business owners to openly discuss their unique challenges and opportunities in supporting their spouses in an often invisible role, educating and preparing the next generation for their roles as future owners and decision-makers.
The session aims to provide a space for spouses to share their experiences, insights, and strategies for contributing to the work of their partner, the education and values transmission to the next generation.
