Elaine Yew is the global co-head of Egon Zehnder’s Family Business Practice and the Asia lead for the Global Board Practice. She advises private and public companies on succession planning for the CEO, other C-level positions, and non-executive positions, as well as CEO development, top team effectiveness, organizational culture, and board effectiveness. She joined Egon Zehnder 24 years ago and has been involved in numerous leadership roles in the Firm, including the Global Executive Committee, for eight years.
Elaine is a trained Coach and Fellow of the Institute of Coaching, McLean, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and a certified Mediator. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.A. with honors in English and Drama from the University of Kent.
She serves on the boards of Singapore’s Ministry of Health Holdings; The Majurity Trust, a philanthropic organisation; SPH Media Holdings; and is on the Nominating Committees of BW Offshore, BW Energy, BW LPG, Hafnia, and Cadeler AS, all listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange; and Singapore International Mediation Centre.
