Andrés del Río is a pivotal figure in Chilean business, currently the Vice President at the Family Business Association of Chile, where he has been promoting the interests of over 100 leading business families since 2022. As a mentor at Start-Up Chile, Andrés guides nascent ventures toward success. He manages investment projects across diverse sectors at Huillinco, his family’s office. Andrés founded Cafetano in 2019 to enhance coffee quality, leading it until 2023, and previously held director roles at major firms like Derco and Falabella. Andrés teaches at the Chilean Institute of Corporate Governance, providing courses on strategy and effective directorship with E&Y. His educational background includes an MSc from HEC Paris, a Yale management degree, and an MBA from Universidad Católica de Chile.
