Ricardo Seiji Bernardes Nishimura, a prominent figure in the third generation, assumes the esteemed position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Jacto Group. With a background in Business Administration complemented by specialized studies in governance from IMD, Ricardo brings a wealth of expertise to his role, overseeing strategic decision-making and corporate governance within the organization.


In addition to his leadership at Jacto Group, Ricardo holds chairmanship roles at Bioceramed and Vetra, pioneering startups dedicated to advancing biomaterials for medical applications. His influence extends further as a board member of prominent institutions such as the Brazilian Rural Marketing and Agribusiness Association (ABMRA), the Agribusiness Innovation Center (CIAG), the venture capital fund Tridon Participações, and the Shunji Nishimura Foundation of Technology.


Furthermore, Ricardo actively contributes to the advancement of agricultural sustainability as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Sustainable Tropical Agriculture Center (STAC) at the University of São Paulo (USP Beyond his professional endeavors, Ricardo finds fulfillment in his role as a dedicated father of two. During his leisure time, he enjoys indulging his passion for soccer, finding both recreation and camaraderie on the field.
