Theatre as a Mirror: Exploring Family Business Dynamics through Forum Theatre

Case Study

In a groundbreaking global initiative, TAIDER (FBN Türkiye) has adapted Augusto Boal’s forum theater method to address challenges within family businesses. Family members from different generations performed roles on stage, creating unique insights into succession and ownership themes. Both the performers and audience members, who are also family business owners, engaged in interactive discussions, fostering creativity and potential solutions. In this session, we will present highlights from these productions and showcase how forum theater encourages dialogue and transformation in family businesses.
